Noelle Rueschman is a woodwind player specializing in flute, clarinet and saxophone. She originated the solo reed chair at The Outsiders, winner of the 2024 Tony Award for Best Musical. She also originated the Reed 3 chair at the 2026 Tony Award winning Best Musical, Schmigadoon! In 2023, she proudly held the Reed 3 chair at Some Like it Hot.
For three years, Noelle has held the Reed 2 chair at The Christmas Spectacular featuring the Radio City Rockettes. She has performed in over 200 Radio City shows on piccolo, flute, clarinet, soprano saxophone, and lead alto saxophone.
Noelle has held chairs at Off Broadway shows such as Bob Carol Ted & Alice (Signature Theater), Cheek to Cheek: Irving Berlin in Hollywood (York Theatre), and An Unbalanced Mind (AMT Theatre). She has been chair holder for JOY and Last Days of Summer at the George Street Playhouse.
Noelle has performed as a substitute on Broadway shows such as How to Dance in Ohio and Bob Fosse’s Dancin’. Off Broadway substitute work includes White Girl in Danger (Second Stage Theatre), SUFFS (Public Theatre), Merrily We Roll Along (Laura Pels Theatre), Cyrano (Daryl Roth Theatre), and The Secret Life of Bees (Linda Gross Theatre). She has also subbed on many shows at the PaperMill Playhouse and the Big Apple Circus at Lincoln Center Plaza.
Noelle has performed with leading artists such as Suzanne Vega, Sutton Foster, Lea Michele, LaChanze, Peter Dinklage, J Harrison Ghee, Santino Fontana, Alex Gemignani, Norm Lewis, Paquito D’Rivera, Jessica Vosk, Ben Platt, Joy Woods, Rachel Zegler, Darren Criss, Patti Lupone, and Sara Barellis.
A Florida native, Noelle proudly holds a BA in Saxophone from Florida State University. She holds a Master of Music in Multiple Woodwinds from New Jersey City University, where she was also a teaching assistant for undergraduate woodwind classes.
